This micro-credential course explores the Sunday-to-Monday gap, helping students integrate faith and work. Through worship, discipleship, and mission, learners develop a holistic understanding of vocation, gain practical strategies to connect faith with daily life, and cultivate church cultures that view all work as part of God’s redemptive mission.

 Dates and Time: Feb 18th 2026 , Wednesday @ 1:30 to 4:30pm AST(12:30 to 3:30pm EST).
                                       April 16th 2026 , Thursday @ 1:30pm to 4:30pm AST

 Completing the Micro-Credential Course: At the successful completion of this course, students will be awarded a micro-credential badge approved by Acadia University and Acadia Divinity College to your MyCreds account
 Grading: All ADC Expand micro-credential courses are pass/fail 

How to Apply

1. Create an Account & Fill out the Application Form
After you've created your account, an application form will pop up. Fill out all fields and submit - it should only take a few minutes to complete. Your application will be reviewed by ADC and you will receive a response within the week. 
2. Enroll in the course of your choice
Once you have been admitted to ADC Expand, you can enroll and pay for your course by clicking the 'Enroll' button on the relevant course page. You will not have to re-apply to take future courses and you will be notified when new courses are launched. 

Financial Assistance

 Students who have their credentials held by the CBAC can request a $50 bursary code to use at the time of course enrolment. Please contact Garth Williams (garth.williams@atlanticbaptist.ca) for eligibility.
  Students who have their credentials held by the CBOQ can request a $50 bursary code to use at the time of course enrolment. Please contact Ken Foo (kfoo@baptist.ca) for eligibility.
 Students who have their credentials held by CBAC, CBWB, or CBOQ can request a $50 bursary code from Vennture to use at the time of course enrolment. Please contact Michael Waddell (mwaddell@cbmin.org) for eligibility.

Your instructors

 Dr. Michael Waddell 

Michael, a business enthusiast, loves helping people of all ages discover where faith meets work and business. Michael spent 14 years working in small business before joining CBM’s team in 2015 where he spent 4 years in the Philippines leading people and partners towards an increased engagement in the marketplace through the integration of their faith with daily work. Since returning to Canada in 2020, Michael has been providing leadership for Vennture, the faith meets work initiative of Canadian Baptist Ministries. Michael has degrees from Crandall University (BA, Biblical Studies) and Acadia Divinity College (MA, Theology).  

Rev. Dr. Terry Smith 

Terry and his wife, Heather, served in France for 20 years, with inner-city youth, urban church planting, theological education and leadership development. Upon their return to Canada, Terry served on the leadership team of CBM, and is currently Strategic Associate for Missional Engagement. Terry has taught at seminaries in Canada and overseas in the areas of Integral Mission, Gospel and Culture, Work – Ministry & Vocation, and Global Christianity. His degrees are from Ottawa University (B.Soc.Sc), Institut Jean Calvin (L.Th), Faculté de Théologie Libre (DEA) and Acadia University (D.Min).
