What is a Micro-Credential?

A micro-credential is a short, focused, and competency-based certification that recognizes the achievement of specific skills, knowledge, or expertise in a particular area. There is no end to the number of micro-credentials that participants can achieve as they enhance their personal and professional development. The successful completion of every course results in a micro-credential badge awarded by Acadia Divinity College / Acadia University.
